Clarins Colour & Comfort Lip Balm Crayon in Creamy Pink
I read Fleur de Forces review of the new Clarins lip crayons recently and really wanted to try it. A while ago I was looking for a new lip colour fro, the clinique chubby sticks but couldn't find a light pink that I liked. When I saw the selection clarins had to offer I was rather excited.
The shade that I really fancied was the elusive "my pink" but this was sold out much to my dismay! My pink is a light pink shade that apparently ajusts according to the ph of your lips, so it will look different on everyone. Quite exciting. But like I said, sold out... So the lady on the counter showed me the next pink in the collection. Creamy pink.
Would I repurchase?: Yes yes yes

The Clarins Lip Balm Crayon in Creamy pink £18 really is great. The packaging makes this balm stand out from others on the market. It feels very sturdy and I like the gold touches. This feels very creamy (ha) when applied to the lips. Not at all drying. The colour is lovely, a peachy pink but quite opaque so it looks more like a lipstick to be honest. This wears really nicely. Evenly and lasts for a fair amount of time on the lips which for a balm is pretty decent. Oh and the scent! It smells of sweeties.
The only trouble is now I know I like the formula of this lip crayon I really want to get my mitts on the 'My Pink' shade. "Shade 01 - my pink adapts to the colour of the lips: sensitive pigments react with the pH of lips to create a unique shade". I will have to keep my eyes peeled for it!
