I have wanted to get hold of a bottle of this for literally months. Ever since the wonder that is Caroline Hirons made me realise that I needed an exfoliating toner as part of my new and improved skincare routine. She suggests a few, but I decided this was the best one for the size and price.

The only problem was that this toner is jolly hard to get hold of. Pixi don't currently sell any of their skincare on the website, so the only options are:

~ Go into their London store on Carnaby Street (and hope that it is in stock!)
~ Call the store on 0207 287 7211
~ or email them at storemanager@pixibeauty.com for mail order.

Well I finally made it to London the other day and decided to head over and try and pick up a bottle. A word of warning, blink and you can miss the Pixi store. I almost walked past it! It's tiny and very unassuming.

Well I was in luck. It was in stock!

A bit more detail for you:

The Pixi Glow Tonic is essentially an exfoliating toner. You apply some to a cotton wool pad and wipe all over your face after you have cleansed.

This is suppose to be a dupe for the P50 toner, but I've not tried that so could tell you how they compare.

What I do know is that I'm so happy I have this in my life. It feels like my skincare routine in now complete :)

First impressions: This smells a little like vinegar when you pop it on a cotton pad and slather it over your face. It must be that it is acidic as such. But the smell isn't overpowering or awful. This didn't sting at all from my very first use as has never caused any irritation.

I'm hoping this is going to help get bit if those stubborn under the skin bumpy spots that sometimes appear. I also now feel like my new and improved skincare routine is now complete. This also helps to get the skins ph back to acidic. This is apparently how it wants to be (according to Caroline) so why try to fight it!

This is a great option if you're looking for an exfoliating toner.

Give it a go.

Do you tone?
